في عام 2015 و 2016، خرجت العديد من الاحتجاجات ضد دونالد ترامب في جميع أنحاء الولايات المتحدة بسبب ترشيحه في الانتخابات الرئاسية 2016 ، واستمرت الاحتجاجات حتى بعد إعلان فوزه.

في يونيو 2015 بعد أن أعلن ترامب ترشحه للرئاسة اندلعت احتجاجات في عدد من الولايات الأمريكية. وكان المحتجون المناهضون له يقومون بتنظيم مظاهرات داخل تجمعاته الانتخابية، وإغلاق الطرق لمنع وصول أنصاره إلى تجمعاته.[2][3][4] وكان يشاركون في بعض مؤتمراته الانتخابية ويقومون بمقاطعته حين خطابه.[5][6] بعد إعلان فوز ترامب للرئاسة، اكتسبت الاحتجاجات زخماً أكبر وخرج الآلاف إلى الشوارع في المدن الرئيسية الأمريكية في جميع أنحاء الولايات المتحدة، احتجاجا على فوزه،[7][8] وهم يرددون هتافات مختلفة بما في ذلك "هو ليس رئيسي".[9]

بدأت الاحتجاجات ضد ترامب بعد اعلان ترامب ترشحه للرئاسة الذي كان في يونيو 2015، وخاصة بعد أن هاجم المهاجرين غير الشرعيين القادمين من المكسيك واصفاً إياهم "بالقتلة والمغتصبين وحفنة من تجار المخدرات".[10][11] استمرت الاحتجاجات في الشوارع على مدى شهور وإلى 2016.

خرج الآلاف من الطلاب الجامعيين بالولايات الأمريكية، احتجاجا علی انتخاب ترامب، وفي بعض المدن، كسر بعض المتظاهرين زجاج نوافذ بعض المحال واضاءوا الحرائق، وأحرقوا الأعلام، ورشقوا شرطة مكافحة الشغب، وردت الشرطة عليهم بالقنابل المسيلة للدموع واعتقلت عددا منهم.
