جيش المنطقة الخامسة الياباني (باليابانية: 第5方面軍) ، هي فرقة عسكرية يابانية من مهنة القوة البرية ، تقع مقرها في مدينة سابورو في الإمبراطورية اليابانية ، بدأت تشكيل القوة العسكرية بتاريخ 16 مارس سنة 1944م أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية ، وأعلنت حلها بتاريخ 15 أغسطس سنة 1945م ، وكانت تلقب في ذلك الوقت "آتين" (達) ، واشتهرت القوة المنطقة الخامسة بحربها على السوفييت في منشوريا.
