شعب أيمارا

الأيمارا أو إيمارا ((بالأيمارا: aymara)‏) هم شعب من شعوب الهنود الحمر الذين يتواجدون في مناطق الأنديز والألتيبلانو في أمريكا الجنوبية؛ يعيش حوالي مليون شخص منهم في بيرو وبوليفيا وتشيلي. عاش أسلافهم في المنطقة لقرون عديدة قبل أن يصبحوا عرضة لهجمات شعوب الإنكا في أواخر القرن الخامس عشر وأوائل القرن السادس عشر، ثم تأثروا بالغزو الإسباني لإمبراطورية إنكا في القرن السادس عشر. مع حروب الاستقلال الإسبانية الأمريكية (1810-1825)، أصبح الإيمارا رعاي لدول جديدة في بوليفيا والبيرو. بعد حرب المحيط الهادئ (1879-1884) استحوذت تشيلي على أراضي الأيمارا.[1]
