فرد دوهرتي (Fred Doherty)‏ هو لاعب هوكي جليد أمريكي، ولد في 17 يونيو 1887 في Asphodel-Norwood في كندا، وتوفي في 12 فبراير 1961.^[1]^[2]^[3]

The name Wilfrid Patrick Doherty and birthdate of August 15, 1887, appear to have been taken erroneously from First World War attestation papers. On August 7, 1916, an unmarried clerk from Toronto named Wilfred Patrick Doherty, born August 15, 1897, enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force, listing his father, Michael P. Doherty, as next of kin. The hockey player was by that time married and was the son of Westwood hotelkeeper John Doherty.
