ويندوز لايف (Windows Live) هي مجموعة من البرامج التي تطلقها شركة مايكروسوفت،أغلبها تطبيقات ويب،يتم عرضها من المتصفح،وهناك مايحتاج للتثبيت من قبل المستخدم، هناك ثلاث طرق في ويندوز لايف والتي تقدم منها الخدمات : ويندوز لايف أساسيات تطبيقات (Windows Live Essentials) وخدمات شبكة الإنترنت (web services) ، وخدمات الهاتف المتحرك (mobile services) .[1]

أول ظهور لويندوز لايف كان بتاريخ 1 نوفمبر 2005 . في إصدارها الأولي أخذت العديد من البرامج التي كانت لـإم إس إن كـإم إس إن مسنجر وإم إس إن هوتميل وقامت بإعادة تسميتها.ومع ذلك ، ام اس ان لا يزال موجودا جنبا إلى جنب مع ويندوز لايف كوسيلة لتقديم محتوى المبرمجة (as opposed to customized content and communications) [2]
