تريميلا ميسينتيركا Tremella mesenterica
فطر المعي المتوسط و تلك صفة لاتينية أصلها من الكلمة الإغريقية mesenterion والتي تعني المعي المتوسط.[1][2]

من أسمائه الشائعة (الدماغ الأصفر، فطر الجيلو الذهبي وهو فطر هلامي من عائلة حمراوية من زمرة الفطور Agaricomycotina. غالبا ما نجده على الأغصان المتساقكة وبشكل خاص على أغصان أشجار كاسيات البذور angiosperms.[4]

صلاحيته للأكل
على الرغم من زعم البعض عدم صلاحيته للأكل[6] إلا أن العديد من المصادر الأخرى أكدت عكس ذلك وأنه صالح للأكل ولكنه عديم النكهة[7][8]
التواجد
ذكر أن الفطر متواجد في أوروبا، ،إفريقيا، أسيا، أمريكاالشمالية، الوسطى، و الجنوبية وأستراليا[9]
