حدثت معركة دمشق بتاريخ 26 سبتمبر 1918 ، بين القوات البريطانية والثورة العربية الكبرى وبين الدولة العثمانية والإمبراطورية الألمانية، وحسمت المعركة بانتصار الجيش البريطاني والقوات العربية على العثمانيين وتسليم دمشق لملك الحجاز فيصل الأول بتاريخ 1 أكتوبر 1918 .
