حركة الثقافة الحرة هي حركة اجتماعية تهدف إلى دعم الحرية في توزيع وتعديل الأعمال الإبداعية من أدب وفن وبرمجيات وغيرها باستخدام الإنترنت بالإضافة إلى وسائل إعلامية أخرى.[1][2][3]
ترفض حركة الثقافة الحرة تطبيق قوانين حقوق النسخ والتأليف، أو ترفض مفاهيم مثل حقوق النسخ والملكية الفكرية، يعتقد العديد من أعضاء هذه الحركة أن هذه المفاهيم وتطبيقها يعوق قدرات الإبداع
