Prix Edgar-Allan-Poe

Les prix Edgar-Allan-Poe (Edgar Allan Poe Awards), plus communément appelés Edgars, sont des distinctions décernées chaque année par l’association Mystery Writers of America^[1], qui regroupe des auteurs de romans policiers américains.

Nommées depuis 1946 en l'honneur de l’écrivain américain Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849), elles récompensent les auteurs des meilleures œuvres policières de l'année passée dans les domaines littéraire, télévisuel, cinématographique et théâtral.

L'association décerne parallèlement chaque année les Grand Master Awards, honorant un auteur pour l’ensemble de son œuvre.
